The American Educational 2215 introductory rock collection is used for geological study, and has 15 igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rock specimens (five each), for detailed examination. The collection has four color information charts for instructional use, and is number-coded and includes a key sheet for identification. The 2215 has a compartmented tray for display and storage, with specimens that measure 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 inches (L x W). (L is the horizontal distance from left to right; W is the horizontal distance from front to back.) Specimens in this collection may vary, based on availability at the time the product is packaged. The collection is suitable for grades 6 to 12 and ages 11 to 18.
