The Estes 1751 Alpha III bulk pack contains 12 individually wrapped Alpha III beginner model rocket kits. The one-piece plastic fin unit, pre-colored parts and self-stick decals mean no painting and fewer assembly steps, so students spend more time flying than building. Each rocket flies to a projected 1,100 feet and returns on a 12-inch parachute.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the kits individually packaged?
Yes. Each of the 12 Alpha III kits is wrapped separately with its own parts and instructions, so every student builds and launches their own rocket.
Is launch equipment included?
No. Engines, starters, recovery wadding, glue and a launch system (Estes Porta-Pad II and Electron Beam controller) are sold separately.
Alpha or Alpha III for my class?
The Alpha III is easier (plastic fins, no painting). The original Alpha (1756) teaches sanding and painting.
Estes model rocketry is recommended for ages 10 and up, with adult supervision for those under 12.
