This 40W Soldering Iron with built-in Vacuum Desoldering Pump can be used for both soldering and desoldering. Typically used for dismantling electronic components from printed circuit boards and removal of excess solder. Works by first heating the solder with the soldering iron, then when the shutter release button is pressed the spring pushes the piston and differential pressure sucks the solder inside, drawing the solder from the board.
