This is a double-sided presensitized positive photoresist printed circuit board measuring 4.5" x 6.5", with a fiberglass substrate and 1 oz copper foil. The copper is coated with a highly sensitive positive resist, so you can expose it directly from positive artwork without reversing it. Exposure takes 60–90 seconds in an exposure unit or 6–10 minutes under a fluorescent lamp.

Key Features

  • Double-Sided copper board, 4.5" x 6.5"

Frequently Asked Questions

What does "positive acting" mean?
On a positive photoresist board, the areas exposed to UV light are removed by the developer. Your artwork's dark traces block the light, so the copper under them is kept and can be used directly from a positive transparency.

What else do I need?
A transparency of your artwork, a UV exposure unit or fluorescent lamp, developer and an etchant. These are not mentioned as included.

How do I align both sides?
Print both layers on transparency, align them carefully (many people tape them into a pocket), and expose each side in turn.
